Note: From the Turnpike Exit 74 they both have you turn left (shown in blue below).
For a more direct route from Exit #74 (shown in yellow above): after the toll booth, keep right onto Rte. 209 North for about 150 feet. Watch for Bowmanstown sign. [BE CAREFUL NOT TO MISS IT!]. At that sign turn right onto Cherry Hill Road and travel approximately 3 miles. Turn left at the Sunny Rest Resort sign and drive to the Gatehouse.

DIRECTIONS TO SUNNY REST RESORT

By Bus from New York City or Philadelphia - take Susquehanna Trailways to Lehighton. Transporation from bus terminal and back can be arranged by calling Sunny Rest Resort preferably in advance

From New York Rte. 80 West through the Delaware Water Gap in Pa. Exit at #304 to Route 209 South. Travel approximately 5 Miles and Exit at the sign for Lehighton & 209 South (DO NOT STAY ON 33 SOUTH). Travel approximately 25 miles on 209 South looking for turnpike signs. When the road changes to 4 lanes, make an immediate left hand turn across the highway, onto Cherry Hill Rd. (just before the PA Turnpike - Rte 476. If you go under Rte 476 - you have gone too far). Travel approximately 3 miles to the Sunny Rest Resort Sign. Make a left and drive to the gatehouse.

From New Jersey I-78 West Take Rte. 78 West to Exit #53 (formerly #15) in PA. Take Rte 309 North to Rte. 22 West. Take Rte. 22 West (one exit) to Rte. 476 (Turnpike Extension). Travel north on Rte. 476 to exit #74. Pay toll, stay Right onto Rte. 209 North for about 150 feet. Watch for Bowmanstown sign. [BE CAREFUL NOT TO MISS IT!]. At that sign turn right onto Cherry Hill Rd and travel approximately 3 miles. Turn left at the Sunny Rest Resort sign and drive to the Gatehouse.

From Staten Island Take the Outerbridge Crossing to Rte. 287 North. Take Rte. 78 West, then follow the directions above.

From Philadelphia Take the Northeast Extension of the Pa Turnpike (Rte. 476) North to Exit #74. Pay toll, stay Right onto Rte. 209 North for about 150 feet. Watch for Bowmanstown sign. [BE CAREFUL NOT TO MISS IT!]. At that sign turn right onto Cherry Hill Rd. and travel approximately 3 miles. Turn left at the Sunny Rest Resort sign and drive to the Gatehouse.

From Baltimore - Washington Take I-83 North toward Harrisburg. Take I-81 North to I-78 East toward Allentown. Follow the signs for Rte 476 North (Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike) and travel North on Rte 476 to Exit #74. Pay toll, stay Right onto Rte. 209 North for about 150 feet. Watch for Bowmanstown sign. [BE CAREFUL NOT TO MISS IT!]. At that sign turn right onto Cherry Hill Rd and travel approximately 3 miles. From Points West - Pittsburgh etc Take I-80 East to exit 277 (Old 42) the Northeast extension of PA turnpike Route 476. This is the Lake Harmony Exit. Take the Northeast Extension of the Pa Turnpike (Rte. 476) South to Exit #74. Pay toll, stay Right onto Rte. 209 North for about 150 feet. Watch for Bowmanstown sign. [Be Careful Not to Miss It!]. At that sign turn right onto Cherry Hill Rd and travel approximately 3 miles. Turn left at the Sunny Rest Resort sign and drive to the Gatehouse.
